Singapore is known for it’s Cultural Diversity. Visit Chinatown and Little India, the ethnic quarters that used to be the enclave for the Chinese and Indian community.
Chinatown has come a long way since the early days when Chinese immigrants made this enclave their home. Filled with a sprawling myriad of shops and eateries, bustling with colourful and exciting activities set against a backdrop of rich history and heritage, Chinatown is not to be missed. At Chinatown, you will visit the beautiful Buddha Tooth Relics Temple and also visit a local market and a Hawker centre.
For lunch, you will enjoy a delicious meal in a Michelin rated restaurant.
After Lunch, experience one of the most popular public transport in Singapore. Take an MRT ride down to Little India.
Rich in culture and deeply rooted in tradition, Singapore’s Little India invites you to excite your senses. With a surge of flavours, sights, sounds, fragrances and an ethereal feel, Little India is a melting pot of all things Indian. Here, we will visit Little India Arcade, where many of the traditional shops still thrive. Admire hand-embroidered saris, hand-made trinkets and traditional sweets. For an authentic experience, why not get a temporary henna tattoo? As most Indians are Hindus, we will also visit the Sri Veeramakaliamman Hindu temple which is dedicated to the goddess Kali.
